Huiracocha HUIRACOCHA - (Coochie)
The God of Rain

Male, Half Accoyo
Born: May 2006
Colour: Light fawn
Dam: Gerty
Sire: Accoyo Tolkein [Atlantic herd]
Half brother of Lewes Little John.

Coochie is a beautiful Accoyo male cria, one of the latest additions to the County Alpacas herd. He is light fawn and on close inspection reveals good confirmation and fleece. We’re really excited to see how he develops over the next 12 months. Huiracocha (pronounced Wiracocha), was worshipped by the pre Incas and was said to have created the sun and the moon on lake Titicaca. From there they were set into the heavens. Huiracocha was born in the South East of England in a drought. The day he was born it rained heavily and continued to rain for the rest of the week. His birth heralded a break in the drought and brought much needed relief to this part of the country. We couldn’t resist thinking he was responsible!
